For Adults Only: Fifty Shades of Grey Book Review
Everyone is buzzing about these controversial E.L James books. It has been released last June of 2011, it quickly gained popularity among women thru word of mouth, now book sales are soaring, and still selling like candies. And then recently all 3 books, Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, made it on top of the New York Times bestselling book list, surpassing the record breaking Harry Potter books by JK Rowling.
I first heard about this book from a friend and I wasn’t that much interested to read it before because of its explicit BDSM contents, not my thing you know, I’m actually more on romance novels. But after so much persuasion, I decided to read it. Besides, never judge the book by its cover. And speaking of the cover, the gray bow tie cover and the title itself is intriguing, I’m also a bit curious about this British author, who is by the way, a TV executive, mom of 2 and was inspired by reading Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight to write these Fifty Shades books.
